Come spend some time with the Rescue Heroes in Fisher Price’s Rescue Heroes: Hurricane Havoc and learn how to execute rescues just like them. Players must complete five different missions at the training center to become part of the Rescue Heroes team.
In Save the Pets, players must ride with fireman Billy Blazes and put out a fire at the pet hospital. Once the fire is out, players must help rescue all the trapped animals to complete their mission. As a reward for a successful mission, a fire rescue badge can be printed.
Police officer Jake Justice takes players for a ride in Bust the Roadblocks. They must rid the city of objects blocking the road by using a special ram mounted on the front of Jake’s bike. Once all the roadblocks are cleared, another badge commemorates the event.
Building Breakthrough has players helping Jock Hammer save the treasures in the museum from being destroyed by the rising floodwaters. They must break through all five floors of the museum, since all the other exits are blocked and the power to the elevators doesn’t work. After breaking through the floor, they must rescue the valuable items left inside by attaching a hook to the item and then Jock will haul it to safety. The reward for rescuing items on all the five floors is yet another badge.
In Flood Rescue, players must guide Gil Gripper and his dolphin pal Nemo through the flooded areas where animals or people are awaiting rescue. They must guide Gil through the water, avoiding obstacles and making good time. There are four missions including the canyon, river, ocean and finally into the flooded city streets. All four missions completed successfully garner the player another badge.
Finally, players must help Wendy Waters guide her helicopter through an area of fires, putting them out by centering them in the crosshairs and dropping water on them. They must rescue people by centering them in the crosshairs as well, at which point a sling will be lowered to pick up the victim.
After players have acquired all five badges, Billy Blazes, the leader of the Rescue Heroes, will award the player with a printable certificate showing that he or she passed training with flying colors. In addition, players can print out gear or stickers for themselves and their friends by simply clicking on the “Gear Up” button.
Fisher-Price Rescue Heroes — Hurricane Havoc is targeted at the 4-7 age group.
